WHY TEST

Blood testing is the clearest window into your health

Most of what shapes how you feel — energy, sleep, mood, immunity — traces back to markers you cannot see or feel until they drift a long way from normal. A blood test turns that hidden picture into numbers: it catches deficiencies and early warning signs before they become symptoms, gives a baseline to measure change against, and tells you whether the steps you are taking are actually working. Regular monitoring is one of the simplest, most objective ways to stay ahead of your health rather than react to it.

TWO WAYS TO TEST

Lab-based vs point-of-care

We offer both, and the right choice depends on what you need from the result. Here is how they compare.

LAB-BASED

Laboratory blood panels

Your sample is drawn in-clinic and processed at our accredited partner laboratory on specialised analysers.

Accuracy
The reference standard. Full analyser precision across the widest range of markers, interpreted against established clinical ranges.
Speed
Typically 24—72 hours, while the sample is processed at the laboratory.
Reliability
Highly consistent and reproducible. The right choice for hormones, full panels and any result guiding longer-term decisions.

Best for depth, breadth and definitive answers.

POINT-OF-CARE

Rapid in-clinic testing

A small sample is analysed on-site using CE-marked rapid technology, with your result ready during the same visit.

Accuracy
Clinically validated and dependable for the markers offered, though the range is narrower than a full laboratory panel.
Speed
Same-day result, often minutes, so you can act on it while still in clinic.
Reliability
Consistent for screening and monitoring. Borderline or important results are confirmed with a follow-up laboratory test.

Best for speed and immediate reassurance.

Not sure which you need? Your clinical pharmacist will recommend the right route at your appointment — and every result, whichever the method, is reviewed with you rather than simply handed over.

Important – these results are a guide, not a diagnosis. All diagnostic results provided by this clinic are intended as a screening guide only. They do not constitute a clinical diagnosis and cannot replace a consultation with your GP or a specialist. If any result falls outside the standard reference range, you must discuss it with your GP or the appropriate healthcare professional before acting on it. Your pharmacist will flag any out-of-range results and can write a brief summary letter to support your GP appointment if needed.
